The facilities at St Cuthbert’s are available for community use. The Parish Centre provides space for a wide range of meetings and activities.
St Cuthbert’s Church is also available for concerts and music lessons. Use of parish facilities is co-ordinated by John Ewing on behalf of the Wardens. We invite potential users to make contact via the Contact Form below. Here is some information to help you:
- All users are required to enter in to a Hall Hire Agreement.
- A fee is payable which contributes to the ongoing costs of utilities, insurance and maintenance. The standard fee is $28 per hour of usage. This may be reduced if the user has their own insurance. Discounts may also be granted to not-for-profit groups. Rates for music lessons and concerts in the church are by negotiation.
- While it is possible to book the facilities for one-off use, we prefer ongoing bookings. Facilities are not usually made available for wedding receptions and birthday parties.
- Access to the space is via a key in a code-box, and users are provided with an induction prior to the first use.
- There are two non-gendered toilets, one if which is ambulant and the other accessible with change facilities.
- There is an ACROD car park on site.
- The Parish Centre includes a small kitchenette, with a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities.
- Users have access to chairs and tables for up to forty people.
- Before making an enquiry, please check the calendar first to see if your preferred day and time are available.
